The Italian portfolio consists primarily of production and development assets, but also includes near-field, infrastructure-led optionality with a total of over 40 licences. Energean owns a 40% non-operated stake in Cassiopea, the largest greenfield gas development in Italy. Once onstream, Cassiopea will be one of the country’s main producing gas fields.
